Enigma #2 - Jailbreak

John is placed in a cell with a dirt floor, and only one window (no bars) positioned so high that no one could reach it.
The cell is empty except for a shovel and John. It's hot and dry there but John won't get any food or drink anytime soon.
He only has 2 days to break out of the jail, if not, he will die.

Digging a tunnel is not an option as it will take more than two days...

How should John escape the cell?

Enigma #1 - Lion, Monkey, Bananas river crossing

You have to cross the river with one boat that has 2 seats. One for you and one for the lion, monkey and bananas.  You can only take one at a time.

Remember the lion will eat the monkey and the monkey will eat the bananas if they're left alone.

Solution #1

1) Take the monkey
2) Come back
3) Take the lion
4) Bring the monkey back
5) Take the bananas (lion and bananas are on the other side and the lion won't eat the bananas)
6) Come back
7) Take the monkey
